it's 2009, and it hasn't exactly hit me that 2008 is is long gone.
2008 went by so fast that i could barely remember it.
it's weird that i remember the past more clearly than i do with recent events. last night i was looking through my xanga with my cousin looking for this story we wrote about 5 or 6 years ago. while skimming through my past entries i can't help but to look at how "emo" and "pessimistic" i was. as well as how i ended my entries with ~life suks~. reading it now i'm saying wteff was going through my head.now i've grown up to some extent and i'm continuing to do so.
the past is past, we look back to it for guidance and to learn more about ourselves.
it's winter break, and it's going by quicker than i anticipated.
i've spent my days in front of my laptop listening to music , reading anything that aptures my interest, and watching and renting any movie that looks good.
hopefully i'll make this "mini vaca" somewhat adventurous or memoriable.
here's a toast to the new year.
